Terms & Official Rules

1. About this promotion

Game Off Scrolls ("Game Off Scrolls", "we", "us", "our") is a free daily rewards promotion operated by Digiaeon Services Private Limited ("the Promoter"), publishing under the handle @GameOffScrolls. These Terms & Official Rules (the "Rules") govern your participation in each daily prize draw (the "Promotion").

By entering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Rules and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not enter.

2. What it is (and what it isn't)

The Promotion is a free-entry prize draw (giveaway). Winners are selected by random draw from valid free entries.

• It is not a lottery, raffle, betting, casino, gambling scheme, or paid competition.
• It is not an "online money game" under India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. That Act regulates games where a user pays money or stakes something of value expecting winnings. Game Off Scrolls never requires any payment, fee, deposit or stake of any kind — entry is, and will always remain, entirely free. No money game, no stake, ever.
• It is not a "game of skill" contest — the pause-and-screenshot action is a fun participation step, not a skill test, and it does not affect your chance of winning.
• No stake, wager, or consideration of any kind is ever required to enter or to win.

3. Eligibility

• Open only to natural persons who are residents of India and aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
• By entering, you confirm you meet both requirements. We may ask for reasonable confirmation and may disqualify any entrant who does not.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible.
• Void where prohibited or restricted by law. State-level rules may apply in addition to central law.

4. Free entry — no purchase, no payment

Entry is, and will always remain, entirely free. No purchase, payment, subscription, paid membership, tip, coin, star, virtual gift, or any spend of money is ever required, and none gives any advantage or improves your chance of winning.

5. No engagement required

You do not need to like, follow, subscribe, share, tag, comment, or repost to enter or to win. Following us is entirely optional and only helps you see each day's gift and results. This is required by, and consistent with, the promotion policies of Instagram and YouTube.

6. How to enter

1. Play any Game Off Scrolls video marked with a Game ID (e.g. GAME #001) and "Always Active", on Instagram or YouTube.
2. Pause at the required winning moment for that game.
3. Take a full, uncropped screenshot that clearly shows the Game ID and the winning moment.
4. Send your screenshot by Direct Message — or reply to that day's Story with it. Entry is free on either platform.

Entry is free. Standard data charges from your network or platform may apply and are your responsibility.

7. Entry limits & valid entries

• One entry per account per day. If you send multiple screenshots, only the first valid entry counts.
• A person may win only once per day.
• A valid entry must clearly show the Game ID and the required winning moment.
• Cropped, edited, unreadable, duplicate, automated, or suspicious entries may be rejected.

8. Entry dates & timing

Entries are pooled by IST calendar date. Your entry counts for the date on which you submit it, as shown by your platform's timestamp — any time from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 IST. There is no mid-day cutoff.

Each date's pool is then drawn and its winners announced the following evening (at approximately 8:00 PM IST) in the Story. All times are Indian Standard Time (IST). For entries close to midnight, the date shown on the platform timestamp applies; no grace period is offered.

9. Winner selection

After a date closes, we remove invalid, duplicate, and suspicious entries and pool all valid entries for that date on that platform into a single numbered list — across every video and game.

A fixed small number of winners — currently three (3) per platform, per day — is then selected at random from that list, using a documented random method. This number does not change with the volume of entries or the number of videos: a date with 10,000 entries across 100 videos still yields the stated number of winners.

The number of winners is set by the Promoter and may change on any day. The number applying to a given date is announced in that day's Story. Records of the method and entry count are kept. If there are fewer valid entries than prizes, fewer prizes may be awarded.

10. Claiming a prize

• Winners are notified by Direct Message and must reply "CLAIM" within 24 hours (unless the Story states otherwise).
• If a winner does not respond, is ineligible, or fails verification, a backup winner may be selected from the same valid pool.
• For fraud review, we may ask a winner for a short screen recording showing that day's Story and their paused winning moment. We will never ask for payment or sensitive details.

11. Prizes

• The gift for a given date, and the number of winners, are announced in that day's Story and apply only to that date.
• A prize may be a digital coupon, voucher, gift card, physical item, cashback or money, at the Promoter's sole discretion. The launch default is digital coupons / gift cards (pilot: 3 × ₹100 per platform per day).
• Prizes are normally delivered privately by Direct Message (or by email at scale, collected only from winners after winning).
• Prizes are non-transferable. Unless a day's Story expressly states otherwise, there is no cash alternative to a non-cash prize.
• Gift cards and vouchers are subject to the issuer's own terms, expiry, redemption limits, and availability. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value where a specific reward is unavailable.
• Where a prize is a physical item, cashback or money, additional terms apply: the winner may be asked for delivery details and/or valid identification in order to receive it, and applicable taxes (including TDS, see §12) are handled as required by law. Entry always remains free — no payment or stake is ever required to enter or to receive a prize.
• Where a reward brand is named, that brand is not a sponsor of, endorser of, or otherwise associated with this Promotion unless we expressly state so.

12. Taxes

Any taxes on winnings are the winner's responsibility. Where Indian tax law requires tax to be deducted at source (TDS under §194B applies where a single prize exceeds ₹10,000), the Promoter will deduct it as required and may need to collect your PAN before delivering such a prize. At pilot prize values (₹100), no such deduction applies. This applies to any prize type, including cashback or money prizes where offered.

13. Fraud, cheating & disqualification

To keep the draw fair, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entry or entrant that is fake, bot-generated, duplicated, automated, manipulated, edited, abusive, or otherwise suspicious. We may use duplicate-detection and image-matching checks. The Promoter's decision on the validity of an entry and on any fraud question is final.

Winners may be announced publicly by their username / handle only (coupon codes are always kept private and blurred in any proof). Reposting or tagging us is optional and is never required to receive a prize. By entering, you agree we may display your username in winner announcements.

16. Platform release & disclaimers

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with:

• Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
• YouTube or Google LLC.
• Any gift-card, retailer, or reward brand named in a prize, unless expressly stated.

By entering, you acknowledge that these platforms and brands are not responsible for the Promotion, and you release them from any and all liability arising from or connected to your participation. Any questions, comments, or complaints about the Promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Google, or any reward brand.

You are also responsible for complying with the terms of service and community guidelines of the platform you use to enter.

17. Privacy

We collect the minimum data needed to run the Promotion, verify entries, prevent fraud, announce winners, and deliver prizes. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025. Please read our full Privacy Policy. Do not send us sensitive personal or financial data.

18. Changes, suspension & cancellation

The Promoter may modify, pause, or cancel any day's draw or the Promotion as a whole — for example due to fraud, technical failure, platform outage, legal issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control that affect the fairness or integrity of the draw. We may also update these Rules from time to time; the version published here is the one that applies.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for: lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries; platform, network, or technical failures; or any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the Promotion. Nothing in these Rules limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

20. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Rules are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to the Promotion is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chandigarh, India.
